Abstract
Faced with the current digital culture, there is a need for new learning, creative and ethical practices, and an insubordinate creative formation of the educator. The reading of the teacher of programming software and its use as an instrument beyond digital literacy is seen under the antiessentialist approach of technology through metaphors: text, author and reader, for machine, design and user. The case study brings the process tracing technique, little used in Brazilian research in education. Starting from initial formation in Scratch, one looks for real manifestations and hypothesizes the causal mechanism that mediates the formation-cause and use-result. Evidence foreseen and evaluated are specified in the cases. Finally, a model of teacher training in TDIC is presented for amplification and contribution to its reflection.
