The infoinclusion of the person with disabilities providing equal access to the labor market in information and communication technology

Abstract

The inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD) in the labor market is increasing, as well as the social conscience of employers, who open equal opportunities for PwD occupy several positions. However, the low qualification of this community is still the greatest difficulty for hiring. This paper presents the experience of Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado (Eldorado Research Institute) in training PwD in themes of Information and Communication Technology. Unlike other initiatives focused only on teaching Basic Computer Skills, the project described here prepares PwD to work in software development or testing. This paper  shows the design and conducting processes of the project, its constant innovations and results that give better working conditions for PwD.
