Resumo
O presente trabalho procura investigar como, durante as décadas de 1950 e 1960, a crítica de arte japonesa privilegiou a abstração informal como campo para disputas ideológicas ao desenvolver junto aos artistas uma compreensão de arte que atuasse de maneira eficiente nas diversas camadas sociais.
