Abstract
This paper aims to make a brief explanation of the meaningful importance of the NIED/UNICAMP, Center of Informatics Applied to Education of the State University of Campinas (Núcleo de Informática Aplicada à Educação da UNICAMP) to the development of projects in Technology and Education at the UCP -Catholic University of Petrópolis (Universidade Católica de Petrópolis) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It intends to detach the referential framework of the NIED and the influence of this center in the UCP Center of Computers on Education.
