Resumo
A proposta deste artigo é relacionar algumas das questões presentes em dois livros baseados no tema da dádiva, The Enigma of the Gift, de Maurice Godelier, e The Gender of the Gift de Marilyn Strathern, procurando enfocar principalmente uma discussão sobre os conceitos de alienação e inalienabilidade, propriedade e possessão.
