Dinâmica econômica, gasto social e mercado de trabalho na França (2000-2018)

Resumo

O artigo avaliou a evolução de dimensões econômicas e sociais na França no período anterior e no posterior à crise financeira internacional iniciada em 2008. Na dimensão econômica, observou-se menor dinamismo da demanda agregada e perda de participação da França no produto total e manufatureiro em relação à União Europeia e às economias avançadas, com persistência de elevada taxa de desemprego. Na dimensão social, a França destacou-se entre os países desenvolvidos com melhores indicadores salariais e elevados gastos sociais. A proposta liberal para a recuperação econômica francesa tem sido a redução dos gastos sociais e a flexibilização do mercado de trabalho. O artigo argumentou em direção oposta. O fortalecimento da dimensão social é o melhor caminho para a dinamização da economia francesa
