Abstract

This translation intended to respond to the need for dissemination and discussion in the academic environment of some central assumptions of the philosophy of Günther Anders, presented in this text so direct, controversial and definitive in relation to the antiquity of the human being, perceived and attested, with more or less skepticism, “Civil courage” or nostalgia, by several other important intellectuals in the 20th century. The introduction published here in Portuguese was based mainly on the Italian edition L’uomo è antiquato.
