Abstract

The work analyzes how three authors considered classics of Brazilian social thought in Brazil - Oliveira Vianna, Gilberto Freyre and Caio Prado Jr. - approached, in their similarities and diversities, the social, cultural, economic, political and ecological consequences resulting from the implantation and development of a land structure centered on large property in Brazil.
