Pierre Bourdieu's sociology

Abstract

The present dossier, organized by Fabiane Cancian and Samira Feldman Marzochi, aggregates articles from the areas of sociology, anthropology, education and literature on various topics and research objects that take the theoretical and methodological basis of the conceptual contributions of the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. The criteria for selecting the articles was, therefore, more than thematic or disciplinary, theoretical, methodological and qualitative. The texts gathered here prove, in their totality, a significant apprehension of the assumptions of this author for the development of the research, data analysis and exposure of the results, in addition to a rich bibliographical discussion. The dossier was divided into four parts: Biography, Education, Media and Theory, in addition to the Review and Translation sections.
