Abstract
The International Labor Organization -OIT- publishes in the year 2021 the report: Social and employment perspectives in the world. The role of digital platforms in the transformation of the world of work, based on the affirmation of change in the world of work as a result of the influence of platforms, within the framework of digital economies, a situation accelerated and consolidated by the pandemic of COVID-19; This report allows a reading of the unequal global distribution of investment, income and types of employment, implied by digital platforms, where Latin America, although it presents a great welcome to the implementation of worked by platforms, does not retain the greatest benefits of these.
