The Journal of Speech Sciences is an Open Access journal, which means that all content is available free of charge, at no cost to the user (reader or author) or his/her institution.
There is no charges for submitting, processing or publishing a paper.
Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other legal purpose, without requesting prior permission from the publisher or the author, as long as they respect the the Creative Commons license used by the journal. This definition of open access is in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
