Resumo
A obra de Janine Antoni (nascida em 1964) tem uma ligação substancial com uma ampla tradição artística, em particular com a arte do século 19. Esta comunicação propõe um olhar a esse liame, principalmente à representação visual das mulheres e seus recorrentes “atributos”: cabelos, elementos têxteis, minerais ou aquosos. A arte de Janine Antoni refaz o percurso da figura feminina e de seu lugar na cultura contemporânea.
