Resumen
Este artículo discute la película Breve miragem de sol (Rocha, 2019) dentro del campo teórico emergente de los ‘estudios de la noche’ (Kyba et al 2020), campo transdiciplinar dirigido para aspectos de la experiencia humana muchas vezes negligenciados por un enfoque preponderantemente dirigido a la existencia diurna. El punto de partida es el concepto de la noche como ‘frontera’ (Melbin, 1978), que problematiza la comercialización y colonización del tempo-espacio de la noche, y el concepto de espectralidad en el contexto de lo cotidiano (Blanco & Peeren, 2010), para discutir la representación de Paulo (Fabrício Boliveira), taxista noturno que, en cuanto la ciudad ‘duerme’, nos revela el lado invisible de la ciudad 24-horas.
