Abstract
About Nudo Incompiuto (1943, oil on canvas, 84,80 x 55,40 cm, Collection Francisco Matarazzo Sobrinho), by Felice Casorati, today belonging to the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC USP), resulting of the collaboration between the fields of Art History and Applied Nuclear Physics, in the context of the major project of research of the 71 Italian works acquired by Francisco Matarazzo Sobrinho for the collection of the former São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM). The contribution of the Department of Applied Nuclear Physics (IF USP) started due to the fact that five of these works had paintings on their backs.
