Abstract
The event Ossos do Ofício held in Contemporão SP, in September 2019, presented dogs named with artist names and provided a live encounter between dogs and humans. The event provided an opportunity for a meeting that will be discussed here from the perspective of the Multi-species Anthropology and the human-canine bonding. A short debate about humor and socially engaged art also contribute to the discussion.
