TOM Portfolio of Essays of the Federal University of Paraná

Abstract

This text aims to present the TOM Portfolio of Essays of the Federal University of Paraná and to reflect on the last stage of the project's work - the launching of the publication, considering that this is not just a moment of conclusion, fraternization and presentation of the final version of the Portfolio, removed from the process, but also, a training phase for students who have the possibility to put into practice knowledge and skills, not always possible to experiment in the classroom. Thus, the activities for launching the Portfolio are described and analyzed based on the objectives and guidelines of the National University Extension Policy (2012) and the goals established by the National Culture Plan (Law No. 12,343/2010). As a result, it is observed that the actions developed in the launch stage reaffirm interdisciplinarity and interprofessionality; the inseparability between Teaching, Research, Extension; the dialogical interaction and the cultural training practices, showing the university extension as an effective instrument in the professional formation process.
