Abstract
This research article is configured through two parts. In the first part, defined as historiographical and contextual, we explore a journey of the notion of nature in art through the work of different authors. This study begins with the conception of landscape as a pictorial genre, up to contemporary proposals for action and intervention in the natural environment. Subsequently, in the second part of this research, the case study methodology is used to analyze the work of three contemporary artists: Ana Donat, Anaïs Florin and Virginia Bersabé. We cover his work to understand how artistic proposals for intervention in the periphery space are currently configured, linked to a conception of the territory from a critical and transformative perspective.
