Abstract
How to write, from the perspective of architecture, about a man who forms and works as an architect, but who thinks as a philosopher and acts as an artist? And yet he breathes the same time of Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer with whom he collaborates, in the crucial years of 1946-1948 / 1950-51 (with the first) and 1951-54 (with the second)? What do you look for that which ingeniously defines as the "laws of harmony" of art, by "mathematical" imperative, when architecture refers to the "laws of perfection", always deferred by function? (Cepeda, 2017, 74). It looks like a puzzle, an enigma. Perhaps a Buddhist koan: how to be at the center of architecture and deny architecture?
