Abstract

At 4 years of age Nadir painted a red circle on the wall of his living room, and this was a premonition that mathematics would always guide his life. Early on, Nadir enunciated that art is a reflection of the laws of nature, that the essence of the work of art is geometry. Art, for Nadir, was the flame that gave meaning to life, it was the air that breathed. Already as a pupil of the Fine Arts Dórdio Gomes had noticed the "irresistible passion for painting", Nadir devoted himself entirely to Art and to the understanding of the artistic phenomenon with an lucidity and independence of unusual spirit. Art, such a flowing stream, no one can sustain and have painted ever since she painted a red circle on the wall of her living room at the age of four.
