Resumen

Este ensayo explora las películas siberianas de Anastasia Lapsui y Markku Lehmuskallio. Se centra en los medios fílmicos empleados para "filmar de nuevo" el cine dominante. Utilizando el método del análisis cinematográfico, se demuestra cómo la forma de la película puede ser tan política como el contenido que transmite, concretamente cuando se moviliza para dar voz a los pueblos indígenas de Siberia y para revisar los anteriores discursos soviéticos en torno a la igualdad, la integración y el progreso. El ensayo llama la atención sobre dos estrategias formales utilizadas por los cineastas para "filmar de vuelta": la reapropiación de imágenes de archivo para reelaborar el pasado y valorizar a los individuos indígenas; y la creación de una voz plural pseudoautobiográfica capaz de romper el monólogo soviético y encarnar la experiencia indígena compartida. Por último, el artículo sostiene que la consideración de los aspectos formales nos ayuda a repensar nociones como "talking back" y "shooting back", tan a menudo utilizadas de forma indiferente, así como el concepto de "shooting back" (reservado a cuestiones fílmicas).
