Presentation: Mariza Corrêa Prize for Visual Anthropology 2022

Abstract

Every year, the students of the Postgraduate Programme in Social Anthropology at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) hold the John Monteiro Anthropology Days. Since 2011, the event has been an academic week for master's and doctoral programmes, bringing together postgraduate students in anthropology and related areas, creating an important moment for integration, knowledge exchange and strengthening networks. The event's programme ranges from conferences and workshops to the presentation of articles in thematic groups and the Mariza Corrêa Visual Anthropology Award. The latter, in turn, is organised jointly by the organising committee of the John Monteiro Anthropology Days and the editorial committee of Proa: Revista de Antropologia e Arte.
