Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to present part of the visual material produced during the 13th São Jorge Procession, also known as the Ogum Festival, which took place on April 23, 2017 in the city of Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul. The work was carried out in the context of the project Narradores de Bagé and is part of the actions of the Nucleus of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies at the Instituto Federal Sul-rio-grandense (IFSul Campus Bagé), where I work as a Sociology teacher. The project involved the participation of nine students from IFSul, of which two are the authors of this essay. The work, which also resulted in the production of a poetic-documentary video about the Festival, had the support of the Laboratório de Ensino, Pesquisa e Produção em Antropologia da Imagem e do Som (LEPPAIS-UFPel) and Ponto de Cultura Pampa Sem Fronteiras.
