Abstract
Folia de Reis is a very popular festivity in several regions of Brazil, having been introduced by the first Jesuit missionaries in their catechetical work. This festival is a religious manifestation that evokes the presence of the Three Kings, or Three Kings from the East, when the Folia announces the birth of Jesus by visiting houses and chapels.
