Abstract
The present text is a reflection of the concerns of an indigenous filmmaker about the present days, which had as its starting point the conversation between indigenous filmmakers Graciela Guarani and Alexandre Pankararu by means of a Livereal held by the Badesc Cultural Foundation of Florianópolis, SC. Throughout the dialogue several points were approached, such as proposing other languages and genres of production, seeing indigenous cinema as an area of employment, thinking about the distribution and the public of these productions. Independent of all the aspects raised, indigenous cinema is, and always will be, a form of resistance and confrontation.
