Resumo

O artigo revisita o Fr. 20B (Maehler) de Baquílides, conhecido como “Encômio a Alexandre, o filho de Amintas”, a fim de apresentar um olhar mais detido sobre diversos aspectos relevantes da composição, alguns já antes abordados, outros, ainda não contemplados. Ao fazê-lo, busca analisar o modo como se entrelaçam os mundos das Musas, de Afrodite e de Dioniso na trama que conjuga canção, vinho, desejo e delírio. Mais: procura compreender o modo como o poeta projeta cada um desses elementos que entretece ao elogio a seu destinatário, filhe Amintas, rei da Macedônia.
