Abstract
Through the art history, the artists used a lot of strategies to materialize the invisible, the divine, mainly through its anthropomorphization. An example of this strategy is the presence of the Christ Child in the annunciation scenes. Thus, the objective of this paper is to understand the iconography of the Child in the annunciation as a strategy to plastically materialize the invisible mystery of the Incarnation of Christ in Mary’s womb, through the anthropomorphization of His soul.
