Abstract
The author’s purpose is to verify the methodological procedures andPathosformelnotion in Warburg's text on Dürer, to develop an approach based onancient texts and gesture studies, and to analyze the Iris depiction in the Greek painted pottery, aiming to exemplify how theancient Greek art can be studied from the ideas of Warburg.
