Abstract
This article is an essay on different conceptions of knowledge and their relationship with technological devices. Through the description of a specific situation (a workshop on digitizing the oral tradition organized by me for shamans and teachers of the Marubo people of the Western Amazon), this article explores the divergences between the shamanic production of knowledge (made possible by body adornments and the establishment of kinship connections) and the establishment of digital files.
