Abstract
The book Trajectories of lives between ruptures and continuities: stories of women settled in Sidrolândia/MS, by Claudia Delboni, is the result of doctoral research developed in the Postgraduate Program in History (PPGH) at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) between 2013 and 2017. The research is an important contribution to the history of women in Brazil and, mainly, in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. In dialogue with rural sociology in Brazil and Mato Grosso do Sul, the author analyzes the relationships of gender within land struggle movements based on the memory of women living in rural settlements. Through oral history, women talk about their life trajectories and their struggles for land.
