Abstract
The Market of Violence generated in Mexico is analyzed by way of highlighting the functionality the war on drugs exercises on population. Such phenomena are contextualized by the Center-periphery perspective, to show the meaning of the hemispheric praxis of neoliberalism. Retaking the notions of the rebellion and banditry in rural field, it is offered a reflection about new forms of incorporation to the mercantile structures of the narcotraffic. A critical point of view in the relation between Modernity and Human Rights is established to problematize the alternatives for pacification and social justice against the escalation of violence.
