Abstract
The city of Rubinéia in São Paulo, with 3,060 inhabitants (IBGE/2015), is a city known for its tourist potential, due to its location surrounded by three sides of the Paraná River, and it is still composed of great natural beauty. The city is "provincial" and only valued for its tourist aspect, disregarding that in this soil, this land, the people carries a history of struggle, resistance, and their "Hinterland" has much more than the sight reaches. This work aims to know the history of this land, their struggles, governmental repressions, the negligence of the economy, landed property valued to the detriment of the human factor, that composed and make up the history of the people and every little part of land Rubinéia.
