Abstract
Presentation of the dossier "Movements and Circulation Practices in Rural Communities" from Ruris magazine n. 9, number 1. In this issue, the articles offer particular insights into the world of "outlaws" in four Latin American countries. The texts of this edition have in common the concern of exploring, based on quite different research in empirical, theoretical and elaboration terms, the meanings, practices, and experiences of mobility, especially those that mark collectivities that define themselves at least partially because of its relationship with the countryside (in the sense of a rural universe).
