Abstract

I begin writing this article exactly on the day that, 69 years ago, the 3rd IR was created in Rio de Janeiro. This movement, whose victory was taken for granted by the revolutionaries, was quickly defeated, which decided the fate of Olga, a woman who had chosen to help create a better world. The film that tells her story, and which has already been hailed in beautiful words by Emir Sader and in an excellent article by Breno Altman, manages, in two hours, to highlight what was most important in characterizing Olga's life: her humanity.
