Resumo
Este artigo apresenta um projeto inicial de pesquisa cujo tema de estudo é a transmissão de significados simbólicos através da música. Será aqui pesquisada de que maneira a comunicação musical simbólica influencia alterações no arcabouço comportamental e afetivo do ouvinte, segundo as teorias da psicologia analítica (Jung, 2008) e cognitiva (Schneck & Berger, 2006). Em seguida, serão analisados trechos de composições musicais do autor principal, cujas peças são constituídas tanto por elementos musicais instrumentais, como por paisagens sonoras. Por fim, serão propostos estudos experimentais futuros para a verificação da consistência e veracidade das hipóteses levantadas por esta pesquisa teórica de modo a promover a união das bases epistemológicas das teorias e dos conceitos aqui abordados.
