Abstract

The Drug Addiction Attention Program was institutionalized at UNICAMP since 2010 and involves a service flow between Social Sevice/GGBS, CECOM, DSO/DGRH and ASPA/HC departments. It is a program oriented to provide treatment conditions to the University's employees, who present issued related to the use of psychoactive substances and/or lives with some family member, who is also addicted to these substances, given that drug addiction brings significant burden to the user and one's family, leading to the job loss, family breakdown, financial instability and physical and psychological consequences. It is important to emphasie that are various factors influencing the employees in the search of drug addiction treatment, among them, the implementation of the Service Flow between partner units GGBS, CECOM and DGRH, in which each Unit performs their due attributions. Another factor that has been influencing on the services is the increase of searching for involuntary admission, which takes place both by addicted employees' relatives, and by employees who have relatives who are drug addicts, who are looking for this type of treatment. Considering that, from January 2015 to the present time, 15 admissions were performed in partner clinic, we can observe that the Program has been active within the University, always having as the goal the possibility to extend the drug addiction treatment with employees and their relatives, enabling a life quality improvement and a good labor activities performance.
