Abstract
Pregnancy is a very peculiar moment on a woman's life, given that during this period, she is more vulnerable and goes through various physical, psychic and social transformations. The educative group performance is a way to welcome these women, once it enables the exchange of experiences and doubt clearing, making the woman to feel safer during all the process. CECOM provides, in a biannual basis, the pregnant women course for students and professionals at Unicamp's internal community. It consists of 06 meetings with average duration of 2 hours, including the partner's participation, if one wish to. It has a multidisciplinary team, who present topics related to prenatal, gestational examinations, vaccines, nutritional, dental assessment, pregnant woman's rights, delivery, breastfeeding, and among other, newborn care. As of 2012, the visit to the Hospital da Mulher Prof. José Atistodemo Pinotti (CAISM/Unicamp) facilities was included, in which, with previous schedule made by the group nurse, together with the mentioned hospital's Nursing Division, the pregnant women receive informative folders and various explanations by the nurse in-chage about the routine assistance provided to pregnant women, besides of visiting the sectors where they will be before delivery, on delivery and after delivery, until their discharge and babies' discharge. At the end of the Pregnant Women Group, an assessment is performed, with application of a questionnaire for satisfaction research.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
