Nursing assistance systematization and care management literature review

Abstract

The preparation of the nursing assistance's systematization is one of the means available to the nurse to apply one's knowledge when assisting the patient and characterize one's professional practice, collaborating on one's role definition. It is a study with bibliographic review, with descriptive quanti-qualitative approach. The quantitative approach was used to characterize the bibliographic production from the following variables: publication year, journal and study type. The nurse awareness before the importance of the Nursing Process and the theoretical knowledge is a determining factor for a process to be really "good", be managed by a "good manager", which has a macro vision and, at the same time, a micro system view. Given this approach, the nursing assistance systematization and the care management are considered as challenges, due to the implementation resistance, excessive amount of patients and dichotomy between managerial and assistance functions.
