Abstract
The adoption of healthy life habits, such as the practice of physical activities, promotes health throughout life, influence in a positive way, offering a better perception of life quality, which envisages multi-factor aspects. The purpose was analyzing the domains related to life quality of Unicamp&";s employees, who practiced physical activities regularly on Programa Mexa-se [Move Program]. For that purose, the questionnaire about life quality (SF-36) was applied - March and September 2015. In the assessment, the lowest values were found in the domains: overall health condition, pain and physical aspects (62.85, 63.05 and 64.85); the highest values were found in the domains: mental health, social and emotional aspects (72.06; 73.29 and 77.13), respectively. In the re-assessment, the lower values were found in the domains: overall health condition, pain and vitality (74.02; 76.32 and 77.64); the highest values were found in the domains: mental health, social and emotional aspects (85.33; 94.13 and 94.13), respectively, but in all domains the values were higher only in re-assessment after 06 months of physical exercises in the program. We concluded that the life quality, despite of being a subjective factor, the values found being higher, indicated a better life quality, thus the importance of this educative and investigative process of the domains highlighted. Therefore, risk prevention and health promotion measures are the focus; they must influence, even in a long term, on the continuous and permanent improvement of the "human being" life quality, that is, the Programa Mexa-se&";s participant life quality. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
