Abstract

The relation established by an individual with the labor world interferes directly in its social development. Therefore, the first job plays an important factor to constitute the teenager&";s identity and their social roles, once, from it, the individual may experience changes in the way one thinks and acts in the world. Starting from this assumption, the DGA&";s Patrolmen Development and Follow-up Program aims to follow up patrol officers in their labor market insertion, from the realization of individual and group meetings of professional and study orientation. The project began in 1997, and goes through continuous improvements in the systematization to meet the participants&"; needs with more reliability. Currently, DGA have a staff with 8 patrol officers aged 16-17 years old. Until July 2016, they were all allocated at the Document Control Area. However, with the purpose of providing these young people with a better improvement of this professional experience, favor the autonomy, ethics, social responsibility development, a reallocation process of these young people in other DGA areas began. Nowadays, 06 patrol officers remain allocated in the Document Control Area, 01 patrol officer performs activities at the Finance Division and another one at the DGA Coordination. This initiative has contributed to awaken in the young people the responsibility, discipline, commitment, respect to other people&";s individuality concepts and the group behavior rules, thus forming conscious and participative citizens.
