Abstract

The reality of street population or people without civil identification is characterized by social vulnerability and weakened family bonds. The health repercussions are located at the heart of the issue. The study purpose is to present the social worker&";s intervention at UNICAMP&";s Hospital Complex in view of the citizenry rescue. Method: it is an experience report on the services provided to 50 patients in the period from 2012 to 2015, using the social interview instrument, from which 33 (66%) without civil identification and 17 (34%) without permanent residence. Results: Regarding the gender 89% male, 56% white-skinned, the age group prevalence was from 30 to 40 years old, with 51% TBI victims; 48% victims of other problems and 1% by firegun bullet injury. The intervention occurred with the social protocol application to locate family, community and support network bonds, informing about the patient admission at the hospital through physical characterization and violence event location. Due to the rights violation, there were interventions before the Judicial Power and Network Services to rescue the civil identification, parental and or affective bonds, support measures and care to ensure reintegration into society. During service, 25% of the cases unfolded to rescue the family bond. Conclusion: The social worker&";s action is essential to ensure the social rights, interface with public policits and social reintegration.
