Abstract
The computer explosion phenomenon bring a great challenge to research and teaching institutions, which is extracting, from a huge data mass, those things that seem to be relevant for their research and study development. In light of this, the useful information's selection and systemization for universities and their researchers seem increaasingly urgent, and in this context, the digital themed libraries take on a core importance and emerge as a new trend, concerning the specialized information's systemization for access. Therefore, Unicamp's Library System, considering the informational needs by their researches and society, created the Digital Zika Library (BDZ), whose goal is to make available specialized scientific content, which help on the development of new researched related to the confrontation of diseases transmitted by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito. This project results show the library relevance on the social, scientific and cultural context of our society, in addition to increasing visibility and importance of the librarian's professional work.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
