Abstract

The CISGuanabara, Social Integration and Inclusion Cultural Center, linked to the Community Affairs and Extension Pro-Rectorate (PREAC), was created as the university instrument to manage and mobilize the use of a historical and cultural heritage protected in Campinas, the Guanabara Station building and valuation and availability of its university extension projects. One of the developed actions is highlighted in the project "Feiras Culturais" [Cultural Fairs] at Guanabara Station, whose goals are: encourage the community to be part of the cultural activities, extend the attendants' cultural archive, provide the culture agents with visibility and development and contribute with the University's role, in its relationship with the community, in the terms of the University Extension. The main activities are: exhibition of Unicamp's community, students and employees' cultural productions, among them the ones are highlighted: in literature, the free fair for book exchange, without sales; in theater, the performances and workshops; in music, the on-site presentations; in visual arts, the photography and painting exhibitions; in the suburbs culture, the craft work, the street dance, the hip hop, among other; in cuisine, the traditional Brazilian regional food; and in the alternative and creative spaces, the chat groups with authors and culture makers, the circus art and the cultural community manifestations.
