Abstract

The ProSeres - Programa Institucional de Apoio ao Servidor Estudante (Institutional Student Server Support Program) is Unicamp's longest-duration education support program. Deployed mid-1990s, it is still a pioneer in the public service field, in its format, periodically updated, but keeping the inclusion and access strategies to the higher education. As of 2015, being reviewed and with a new management council assigned by the dean, the program begins to strongly invest in post-graduation courses, especially in lato sensu field, given that stricto sensu selections have rules and bid books. However, for both cases, lato and stricto, the program has support lines. Methods Since its deployment, the program considers the formal education indexes from Unicamp's set of servers. In the program beginning, the search for graduation obtainment was high. The private, higher education's scenario, in Campinas, was underdeveloped. Many servants had to move. Simultaneously to an installation time for higher education institutions in Campinas. Various partnerships, some of them kept until present time, allowed thousands of servants to obtain degree. The current indexes point out to a support need, besides graduation. Nowadays, graduated employees enter through civil service exams, even admitted in high-school level, a sign of administrative-technical staff qualification. Results Currently, there is a wide range of possibilities, among partnerships, for education, besides graduation. Final Remarks The index charts included in the poster show the program evolution and aim to the future.
