Resumo
Após analisar a dimensão espacial da crise econômica mundial, os deslocamentos de poder de longo prazo na economia mundial e a formação de desigualdades globais, o artigo investiga as estratégias regionais de enfrentamento da crise. Nessa direção, busca conhecer os estímulos de uma emancipação econômica e política de diferentes áreas mundiais em relação ao Ocidente – sobretudo no leste da Ásia, na Índia e na América do sul. Tese central: a fase de transição poderia ser acompanhada por uma nova cartografia global do poder.
