Abstract
What distinguishes this small book by Domenico Losurdo, published in 1997, from the vast majority of production dedicated to Nietzsche – particularly in the year 2000, the centenary year of the philosopher's death – is the decided opposition to any attempt to minimize the importance of the positions more extreme conservative views of the German thinker, but without falling into the tendency to identify him as a predecessor of National Socialism.
