Abstract

According to most of the media, there is no alternative to capitalism, to globalism in which everything is subordinated to consumption, to the virtual, to financial capital, to a single and one-dimensional discourse. Despite this, dissonant voices arise here and there, reminding us that without utopia, without struggle and pain, it is not possible to find what Marx called the human race. It is in this line of position that Saint-Pierre returns to an old theme, but neglected by intellectuals and politicians when it should be part of any serious debate about the future of the revolution: the revolutionary war.
