Abstract
The essays in the collection Bourgeoisie: état d'une class dominant, according to the introductory text, have in common the thesis according to which, “at the heart of economies, and more broadly of contemporary societies, there is a dominant class, which can be called of bourgeoisie” (p. 6), an idea that is far from consensual in a situation in which many authors understand that the concept of class has been overcome.
