Abstract
The Brazilian political situation is particularly difficult for socialist and progressive currents. The Lula government, which had generated some positive expectations among part of the Brazilian and international left, revealed itself to be a kind of “third way” on the periphery, spreading perplexity, disappointment and revolt among workers and intellectuals.
