Abstract

The present study links the critique of metaphysical humanism (every one that bases itself on any doctrine of the human essence) to the analysis of the transition of the primate to homo sapiens. To this end, it starts with the thesis, synthetically exposed by Marx in The Capital, according to which labor has assumed the characteristics "in which it belongs exclusively to man", when this one, having achieved to discern and abstract the useful form of natural materials, so far appropriated
in rough state, have become apt to produce his means of existence in conformity with the functional scheme he has fixed in his brain. Working, the hominids have developed exponentially the potentialities inscribed in his genetic code, notably by the synergetic strengthening of cerebral capacity and manual expertise.
