Abstract

My intervention has two related parts: the first one recaps some of the current diagnosis on the present difficulties of committed cultural criticism in a thoroughly commodified society, where all the spaces of the negative are quickly turned
into yet one more commodity. The second part presents a tentative reading of a 2002 film, as a means to substantiate certain current critical practiccs.
